The P.A.S.T Release Program is a body-oriented therapeutic approach designed to help release stress, tension, and stored trauma responses held within the nervous system. Our bodies register experiences through complex neural pathways, and when overwhelmed, they hold on to shock, fear, or emotional strain long after an event has passed.

Trauma imprints often keep the nervous system locked in old survival patterns such as fight, flight, or freeze. This can show up as chronic tension, anxiety, sleep issues, emotional reactivity, or physical discomfort without a clear medical explanation. These patterns are not “mental weakness”, they are the body’s way of trying to protect you.

The P.A.S.T method draws from TRE (Tension Releasing Exercises), TRM (Trauma Resiliency Model), and other somatic practices to help you gently unwind these responses. With guided techniques, you learn how to soothe your system, reset long-held reflexes, and support your body in returning to a calmer, more regulated state.

What to expect.. Your experience

Sessions begin with grounding and helping your body settle into a sense of safety. From there, you’re guided through simple body-based movements and awareness techniques that allow stored tension to release gradually and naturally.

As your system unwinds, you may notice shifts such as softer breathing, decreased tightness, or a sense of emotional lightness. The process is slow, intentional, and centred on helping your nervous system move out of survival mode.
